Lean concrete has a low cement content and a relatively high sand content in a ratio of 8:1, which results in low compressive strength and static loading capacity. Gravel with a grain size of 0-8 is used. Lean concrete is mainly used when a low strength is sufficient (e.g. for the adaptation of inclined or damaged terrain).
